The funds will be used in the following activities to be operated on the basis of extensive public transport:-
(a) To formulate schemes of greater public interest and community use,
(b) To develop the latest and appropriate technology targeting the youth,
(c) To conduct programs to create employment at the local level and to produce local goods,
(d) To conduct urban beauty promotion, development and cleaning and rescue campaign of rivers of national importance,
(e) to carry out campaigns related to the production and promotion of high value exportable goods,
(f) To conduct various programs for the protection, empowerment and development of economically and socially extremely poor and marginalized communities,
(G) To organize a campaign against violence against women and Dalits and against social and cultural distortions (h) to conduct programs for the production and promotion of renewable energy such as biodiesel, ethanol, solar, wind etc.,
(i) To conduct waste management and sanitation programs in various areas,
(j) To do other work prescribed by the Government of Nepal under the objective of the fund in the context of building a new Nepal (k) to incur administrative expenses of the Fund,
(l) To do other necessary work to achieve the purpose of the fund.
